Little shawl

Carol gave me some lovely spinning fiber last year and I promptly spun it up, but I'm just now using it with the pattern she gave me.  It's fun to knit and I'm debating on an edging, but once it's blocked, I may just leave it plain.
Wow, this is progressing so quickly, I may have a new accessory to wear after tomorrow.  It's supposed to be 75 tomorrow, but the temp will dive after that.
This weekend is Shepherd's Harvest and I'm hoping Kathy and I are able to go together.

Eek--it's a steek!

I finally finished the yoke, secured the steek stitches and cut.  Less painful than I figured.  I have to say the instructions for this sweater are a bit cryptic.  The author assumes the knitter is knowledgeable about construction and finishing.  Ever the teacher, I look at it from a new knitter's prospective.  However, I like the fit so far and I think it will be a favorite sweater.
I made the Concentric shawlette for the shop, and it was a fun and easy project.  The size is perfect for a summer evening to wear over bare shoulders.

Everything's so greeeeen!

St. Croix River and Lindstrom's water tower
Gorgeous day for a drive! The leaves are changed a little and I got a few nice photos. When we got home, there was a box waiting for me from Joanne!!! The Texas Twisters t-shirt (the group still uses the design I did when I lived there!) and a lovely green shawl!!!! It's going to match my Einstein Coat, St. Brigid, and more! Joanne has a knack for designing lace--love, love, love! I'll let the photos speak for themselves...
